
This piano was rattling, clicking, and knocking. But after removing some foreign objects and debris, it sounded much better.

Pianos are full of delicate materials like felt. When that felt wears down and hardens, the result can be unpleasant noise. So, we revive the felt to eliminate the noise.

A taste of the refurbishing work for this 1990s Petrof 115 VI upright piano.

The pins are part of the tiny joints in an apparatus with hundreds of joints. The friction has to be just right. They certainly can’t just fall out of their socket, like this one did.

This is just some of the work we did refurbishing this Petrof IV 5’8” grand piano. This piano was handmade in the Czech Republic in 1996, and after some work it sounds and plays beautifully.
