Looking Back: Our Sponsorship of the Virginia Chamber Orchestra’s Performance of Carnival for the Animals
This spring, Vaulted Keys Piano was proud to sponsor the Virginia Chamber Orchestra's performance of Camille Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals at The Vault inside Capital One Hall. For the event, we provided two grand pianos (PETROF, Yamaha).
The concert was led by Music Director David Grandis, and featured pianists Misha Tumanov and Yejin Lee performing the celebrated two-piano parts alongside the orchestra. It was a pleasure to see these instruments played by great artists in a great venue.
We are grateful to the Virginia Chamber Orchestra (VCO) and everyone involved for allowing us to support this wonderful performance and look forward to future collaborations to bring world-class live music to our community.

An evening of Czech Piano Music at the Embassy
Closing out the holiday season with a look back at a wonderful night at the Czech Embassy in Washington DC, with perfomances by Alex Ancil, Misha Tumanov, and Mary Voutsas. The night included piano solo, duo, and trio pieces on a beautiful Petrof grand. We were invited to say a few words about Petrof piano craftsmanship and legacy.
A new line of Petrof pianos is now available!
It is an exciting week as we were fortunate to receive a new upright piano from the Czech Republic. This is the very first arrival to the DMV of the new Discovery line of pianos from Petrof. This piano — model P121 — is similar in size to the Yamaha U1, but with a warmer, rounder tone. Now, we’re exciting to bring it to pianists to Washington, DC and surrounding areas.

The Storm has arrived in the DMV!
Today marks a meaningful moment for our dealership as we welcome the Petrof Storm into our boutique piano collection. This instrument is more than a new arrival — it represents a thoughtful selection rooted in a passion for sound, art, and a deep respect for Central European craftsmanship.
