Intermission was an unforgettable evening of music, craftsmanship, and community at The Athenaeum in Old Town Alexandria. This event brought together pianists, teachers, clients, colleagues, friends, and members of the local arts community for an evening centered around two remarkable PETROF pianos and live performances by Mary Voutsas (PETROF Artist) and Misha Tumanov.

We were honored to welcome PETROF President Anna Petrof and Krystof Macovec, as well as representatives from the Embassy of the Czech Republic. From the beautiful setting and exceptional performances to the conversations and connections throughout the evening, Intermission was a wonderful reflection of what we hope to build through Vaulted Keys: a community around piano.

This spring, Vaulted Keys Piano was proud to sponsor the Virginia Chamber Orchestra's performance of Camille Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals at The Vault inside Capital One Hall. For the event, we provided two grand pianos (PETROF, Yamaha).

The concert was led by Music Director David Grandis, and featured pianists Misha Tumanov and Yejin Lee performing the celebrated two-piano parts alongside the orchestra. It was a pleasure to see these instruments played by great artists in a great venue.

We are grateful to the Virginia Chamber Orchestra (VCO) and everyone involved for allowing us to support this wonderful performance and look forward to future collaborations to bring world-class live music to our community.
